Accelerated TMS offers the same benefit as standard TMS treatments, condensed into a 7-day treatment period, rather than the standard 4-6 week timeline. Treatments are offered multiple times per day, with short breaks in-between. The full course of TMS is finalized after a single week.

Accelerated TMS: What you need to know

- Side effects remain mild for Accelerated TMS, and typically include mild headache or tenderness at the treatment site. Breaks between sessions help minimize side-effect risk.
- Treatment typically involves 5 sessions per day, with 1 hour breaks between.
